The five base categories of the internationally coordinated GINETEX/ISO 3758 textile care system — washing, bleaching, drying, ironing and professional care — plus the crossed-out tumble-drying instruction. Each base shape encodes one category, and the dots, bars and crosses added to it encode the specific instruction, so the shapes are only readable as a set: a triangle always means bleaching whatever is drawn inside it, a square always means drying.
