Seven numerals in a triangle of chasing arrows, identifying which plastic an item is made of. The group exists to correct a single widespread error: the codes identify a resin and assert nothing whatever about recyclability. The arrows are borrowed from the Mobius loop and are the reason the mistake is made. Codes 1 and 2 are widely collected, 3 to 7 mostly are not, and 7 is not a material at all but a residual category covering everything else.
