Two figures beside a written label.
Also known as: Public toilet China, WC sign China
Marks a public lavatory in China, conventionally with the written characters alongside the figures.
Carries the characters as well as the figures, which the international standard does not require and Chinese practice generally does; the redundancy is deliberate in a country where the pictogram alone was introduced comparatively recently and the written label is what an older reader looks for.
Contexts: Public information
A panel carrying two standing figures side by side, one in a skirt outline and one without, with written characters set beneath or beside them.
