In dangerous-goods transport the flammable gas placard carries a flame symbol on a red ground, marking a load of gas that will ignite.
Is one of three Class 2 placards, the gas divisions being distinguished by ground colour rather than by class number: red for flammable, green for non-flammable and white for toxic.
