The newest family of tell-tales and the least standardised. A plug means connected, a battery outline means the traction battery rather than the twelve-volt one, and a car with a lead means the vehicle is drawing current.

Distinct from the red battery warning of a combustion vehicle, which reports the charging of the twelve-volt system and not the traction battery. Electric vehicles carry both, and they mean unrelated things.
