Also known as: Do not re-sterilise, No resterilisation, Struck-through sterile symbol
A struck-through sterilisation symbol prohibits resterilising the device, and it is not the same as 'single use': a device may be resterilisable and single-patient, or reusable and not resterilisable by the user. The two marks make different claims.
Is distinct from the single-use symbol: one restricts reprocessing method, the other restricts reuse entirely, and a device may carry either, both or neither.
