An upward triangle above a horizontal bar.
Also known as: Triangle above a line, Eject
The eject symbol is a triangle over a bar, standardised for removable-media controls. It survives on devices with no removable media at all, where it now means 'disconnect' or 'unmount'.
Is encoded as U+23CF EJECT SYMBOL in the Miscellaneous Technical block, alongside the other media-control marks.
Contexts: Software

Contexts: Software
Has outlived the hardware it was designed for: it now marks safe disconnection of storage that was never physically inserted, so the drawing describes an action that no longer resembles it.
Contexts: Software
A filled triangle pointing upward, with a short horizontal bar of similar width drawn beneath it and separated by a small gap.
Both belong to the standardised set of media-control marks.
