An italic capital R, the molar gas constant.

R is Boltzmann's constant multiplied by Avogadro's number: the same physics counted per mole rather than per particle. It appears in the ideal gas law, in the Arrhenius equation and in the Nernst equation, and the italic R collides with resistance in electrical work.
