Requires a Japanese moped to make a right turn in two stages, crossing straight and then turning, rather than in one sweep.

Keeps the slowest motorised class out of the fastest-moving part of a wide junction by sending it across in the same phase as the traffic beside it and letting it turn on the next phase. The manoeuvre is what Australian practice calls a hook turn, and applies in Japan to the gentsuki class specifically rather than to motorcycles generally.
