A red-bordered disc carrying a bicycle.
Also known as: No cycling Japan
Prohibits bicycles from a Japanese road or path.
Is comparatively rare in Japan because the default position is unusual: bicycles may ordinarily use footways as well as carriageways, so the prohibition is the exception rather than the rule it is in countries that keep cycles off the pavement.
Contexts: Road signage
A disc with a thick contrasting border containing a bicycle in side silhouette, two equal wheels joined by a frame with handlebars and a saddle.
