Contexts: Public information
Grew out of the pictogram set designed for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, which is the origin most modern public signage systems trace back to; the standard was substantially revised in 2017 ahead of the 2020 Games, largely to bring the Japanese figures back into line with ISO 7001 where they had diverged.
Contexts: Public information
A family of figures drawn in a single solid tone inside a square field, each reduced to a silhouette with no outline and no interior detail.
