In ISO 1219 fluid power diagrams a pressure reducing valve is drawn as a normally open square with a pilot line sensing the downstream pressure, closing to hold that pressure below the supply.
Denotes a valve that maintains a reduced pressure downstream of itself regardless of a higher supply pressure.
