Arrows and lines showing which way fabric folds over.
Also known as: Box pleat marking, Fold direction arrow
Pleat markings give a fold line, a placement line and an arrow showing the direction of the fold. Reversing the arrow makes a box pleat into an inverted one, which changes the garment's appearance entirely while using the same fabric.
Show where fabric is folded into a pleat, giving the fold line, the placement line and the direction of the fold.
Contexts: Laundry
Reverse the pleat's appearance if the direction arrow is misread, turning a box pleat into an inverted pleat with the same fabric.
