The on-pack recycling label is a wording panel rather than a pictogram: it names the component — bottle, sleeve, lid, tray — and states whether it is widely recycled, must be checked locally, or is not recycled. Its value over the plain Möbius loop is that it addresses collection rather than material: a plastic that is technically recyclable but collected by few authorities is labelled accordingly, which is the question a person standing at a bin actually has.
