A word marking where the piece ends after a repeat.
Also known as: End marking, Al fine
Fine marks the true end of a piece, which is not the last bar on the page when a da capo or dal segno sends the player back. It is one of the few musical directions that changes what the last note is.
Marks the point at which the piece ends, reached after a da capo or dal segno rather than at the last written bar.
